About The Event

A play in 24 Hours! To begin our Third Annual New Works Collection--and for the first time in Redlands Theatre Festival history--artists are gathered to form several teams, each of which will write, rehearse and perform a play in one day! The project begins with a theme, a prop and a setting as the artists' only guide. Racing the clock, the creative teams will leave everything on the stage to present a one-night-only performance of short, new plays. The 24-Hour Play Cycle is challenging, to say the least! Here's hoping it becomes an RTF institution.


Join us after the production for a moderated Q&A with actors and directors to reflect on the performance and to hear about the process.
